Faraglioni
Faraglioni is live exclusively on Vast.
This beautiful rock formation ('Faraglioni' in Italian from a word that can be translated to something similar to "Big Lighthouses" in English) is just a couple of hours away from the place in Italy where I was born.
It started as a family trip to reach the location, we went through a flat tire, a couple of rescue attempts, a stroll in the woods, a couple of minor injuries and, finally, the sunset I captured.
The image is a huge one gigapixel photo, made up of 15 different long exposures of 30 seconds, stitched together in a seamless panorama. You can find birds nesting in the rocks if you look closely. It takes about 20 minutes to save the file every time I make an adjustment, so you can guess how much work I poured into this.
I make a lot of adjustments.
I hope my work does justice to the beauty of the land where I'm from.
Check it out on Vast.
