For more than fifteen years Francesco has been working as graphics software engineer, mostly creating computer graphics for videogames: as a blend of creativity and technology, his job fostered not only his engineering side, but also his keen artistic sense by having been in constant contact with amazing creative people.
Francesco originally picked up photography more than ten years ago to be able to understand the artists' minds and language, which is not the language of math, but that of colors and forms.
Through mastering the technical aspects of photography, along with improving the artistic vision, Francesco's photographic work has been constantly growing since: started as commercial stock photographer, his work has been represented by stock agencies such as Getty Images, Shutterstock and Alamy.
Francesco's work has been featured on several travel magazines, books, advertisement campaigns and used by companies such as Apple, Google and Hilton.
"I grew up in Italy, surrounded by beauty and history, a wonderful landscape and two millennia of culture. Being good with numbers, I followed the path of the engineer, until I found myself with a camera in my hands.
I was hooked."
"For more than ten years I travelled from Europe to California, through Hawaii and Asia, often joined by the people I love, to chase the light and capture the Nature I see.
The few glimpses I catch, I share with you."
"I place great importance on constantly improving my technique and tools; every collector deserves the best quality that can be provided in my images and the emotions they convey are enhanced and strengthened by clarity"
"I'm a self-taught photographer; I had to work hard to bridge the artistic gap that separated me from the Masters who inspire me. Being on the field with the people I love and capturing what I feel is the only way I know to improve."
Francesco's work has been exhibited in several galleries across the US and it's been consistently awarded merits at the prestigious International Photography Competition.
Francesco is member of Professional Photographers of America since 2017.
