The Next Image

I’m flying to New Mexico to spend a week of photography in the White Sands desert and wondering how my “Next Image” will look like.

I spend a lot of time on each photo I publish, editing it, dissecting it, reworking it, looking at it again and again, pixel per pixel, polishing details.

Until each photo I’ve published feels like a good friend I’ve been knowing for ages.

So I now wonder how my “Next Image” will look like, before I get to finally meet it.

It’s exciting.

A beautiful feeling of expectation that I’m growing accustomed to and is a big part of why I love to be a photographer.
