Two weeks ago I unboxed the Sony a7R Mark IV mirrorless camera, the high resolution beast, and brought it with me for a field review in the mountains around Santa Clara in Northern California.
Last summer, I rented the new Sony A7R III to bring with me to China for two weeks, that I used for this field review. I was invited by the Chinese government to shoot the city of Wuhan for the 40th anniversary of the Economic Reforms. I coupled the camera with the Sony FE Zoom 16-35 f/2.8 GM, the Sony FE Zoom 24-70mm f/2.8 GM and the 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 GM OSS.
The alpha mount is dead, long live the Alpha mount!
